Skylight flashing is designed to ensure that rainwater does not find its way into your house. Since skylights are often associated with condensation and leaking, flashing is the only way that such are avoided. Though not mainly restricted to snowy and rainy climates, flashing is of absolute importance when the two are in season as it prevents great damage to both the window and roof.
